Chasing Black Friday in South Africa

Black Friday is finally here! And the malls are awash with retailers strutting their stuff to tap potential shoppers as bargain-hunters try to get their hands on their favourite products and cash in on the best deals. It is regarded as the biggest and busiest shopping day of the year with massive discounts and promotions thrown on products across categories.  And with up to 80% off on products the lure of such extreme discounts can be irresistible.

Black Friday is the Friday following Thanksgiving in the United States and it falls on the fourth Thursday of November. Workers and school children go on holiday on both days, making it a four day weekend. This all-American Phenomenon has become incredibly popular as retailers in  several other countries including the UK, Australia, India and South Africa have joined in this shopping frenzy recently.

As part of the run-up to the D day many retails stores announce incredible bargains, huge deals and host live events to commemorate this day, setting the scene for the holiday season. Some of the retailers offering Black Friday sales include Woolworths, Checkers, Bidorbuy, Zando, Spree, Takealot, Cyberceller, Esquire etc. Bigger drop in prices on this Black Friday affords you the opportunity to save big as you can also find luxury products at the fraction of the price.
