John Shuttleworth

John Shuttleworth is Head Chef at the award-winning restaurant, Rust en Vrede, in Stellenbosch. Rust en Vrede was named in Eat Out Magazine’s Top Ten Restaurants in 2012. “The only place which I really like to go to for good value for money in the Cape Town area is Kitima.  On Sundays they have a great buffet for R215.  The quality is amazing!”

 Tamryn Stoffberg

Tamryn is a Silwood Grande Diploma Graduate and former Chef at The Foodbarn, Noordhoek.  “I usually meet up with foodie friends at Borruso’s  in Rondebosch when we’re not in the mood for a fancy, expensive meal. And I often bump into other chefs when I go there!”

Tamara LePine-Williams owns the upmarket catering company, Salle á Manger. Strydom recommends the 5 star, contemporary Italian restaurant, Ritrovo. He also loves Prosopa Restaurant in Waterkloof Heights, which makes exquisite Portuguese, Spanish and Greek dishes at wonderfully reasonable prices.
