Jackie is rated in the National Top Ten Chefs (in all categories), as well as the Top Ten Young South African Chefs of 2012. She is the Head Chef at Hartford House in Mooi River (Tel: +27 33 263 2713), which won a placement in Eat Out Magazine’s Top Ten Restaurants of 2012.

John Shuttleworth

John Shuttleworth is Head Chef at the award-winning restaurant, Rust en Vrede, in Stellenbosch. Rust en Vrede was named in Eat Out Magazine’s Top Ten Restaurants in 2012. “The only place which I really like to go to for good value for money in the Cape Town area is Kitima.  On Sundays they have a great buffet for R215.  The quality is amazing!”

 Tamryn Stoffberg

Tamryn is a Silwood Grande Diploma Graduate and former Chef at The Foodbarn, Noordhoek.  “I usually meet up with foodie friends at Borruso’s  in Rondebosch when we’re not in the mood for a fancy, expensive meal. And I often bump into other chefs when I go there!”

Tamara LePine-Williams

Tamara LePine-Williams owns the upmarket catering company, Salle á Manger. Nelis Strydom

Strydom recommends the 5 star, contemporary Italian restaurant, Ritrovo. He also loves Prosopa Restaurant in Waterkloof Heights, which makes exquisite Portuguese, Spanish and Greek dishes at wonderfully reasonable prices.
