Last Saturday, Urban Fluid (UF) fashion hosted their first “Open Factory” event. Not only did they launch their latest and first unisex range #UNIFY but they took us behind the scenes into their fashion domain. Guests got to experience where and how the masterminds create their trendy, edgy and fashion forward garments.

So, who is behind URBAN FLUID Fashion?

“At UF-Fashion, we aren’t just a brand, and you aren’t just a customer – for us Fashion is Family,” states UF

And that’s exactly what it is. Urban Fluid (UF) is a family owned business founded in 2014 by brothers Taariq, Raazik and Shaafik Nordien who were inspired by their father, Fuad Nordien who has been in the CMT (Cut, Manufacture and Trim) industry for over 30 years.

With their inherited love and interest in fashion, the Nordien brothers have taken it upon themselves to create and provide affordable and high quality fashion garments for men and more recently women.

In the short space of two years, the likes of South African Cricket Captain Faf Du Plessis, Cape Townian born singer Jimmy Nevis; International tattoo model Shane “ The pirate” Burnell, and celebrity stylist and TV-host Tracy-Lee Roslind have been seen sporting their brand.

The Event

Due to popular demand and the success of last weekend’s “Open Factory” event, the Nordien brothers will once again host their one of a kind behind the scenes event this Saturday.

The public is invited to come and meet the Urban Fluid family; view the garments in the production process; purchase from their latest unisex range; get a glimpse into their new winter collection; and stand a chance of winning UF gear and VRVO jewellery items.

For those who missed out last week, go and get your hands on the latest unisex range of one of South Africa’s up and coming fashion labels.

Urban Fluid Fashion’s “Open Factory” is in collaboration with VRVO.
